2008 Spring Conference
RACCA will hold its 2008 Spring Conference at the stately, federalist-style Westfields Marriott located in Chantilly, Virginia, near Dulles Airport, across the Potomac River from Washington, DC from May 20 to May 22, 2008.
This Conference near our nation's capitol will feature key industry and government speakers and the opportunity to visit with them at many of the scheduled events. Following a tried and true agenda, the 2008 Conference will feature:
An enjoyable Opening Reception, a gala Conference Banquet, golf at one of Virginia's finest courses, and a visit to the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum located at the Dulles Airport.

RACCA Spring Conference Washington DC Sightseeing Trip

RACCA will again offer an alternative to the golf outing. Leaving directly from the Westfields Marriott at 9:00 AM on May 20, 2008 a tour coach will take our attendees to the view the highlights of Washington DC. Stops are planned at key points of interest and there will be plenty of time for photography. The trip is planned to return to the resort with ample time for the welcome cocktail reception, beginning at 6:00 PM.

National Air & Space Stephen F. Udvar-Hazy Center
May 21, 2008
This years conference location offers attendees the unique opportunity to tour the companion facility to the Museum on the National Mall. The building opened in December, 2003, and provides enough space for the Smithsonian to display the thousands of aviation and space artifacts that cannot be exhibited on the National Mall.
The Center was named in honor of its major donor, and features the large Boeing Aviation Hangar in which aircraft are displayed on three levels. Visitors can walk among aircraft and small artifacts in display cases located on the floor, and view aircraft hanging from the arched ceiling on elevated skywalks. Many engines, helicopters, ultra-lights, and experimental flying machines are on display in a museum setting for the first time. Among the aviation artifacts on display are the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, the fastest jet in the world; the Boeing Dash 80, the prototype of the 707; the Boeing B-29 Superfortress Enola Gay; and the deHavilland Chipmunk aerobatic airplane.
RACCA has arranged transportation to and tours of this marvelous facility for all 2008 Spring Conference attendees on the afternoon of May 21st. as part of your Spring Conference registration.

RACCA 2008 Spring Conference Vendor Displays
Note: Space is LIMITED this year RESERVE NOW!
Once again the RACCA Spring Conference will welcome a limited number of table top displays. This year's opening cocktail reception will take place in the display area. Also, all breaks, breakfasts and lunches will be located in the display area. Any special electrical or internet connections should be worked out with the hotel in advance.
All displays must be ready for showing by 5 PM on May 20th (opening cocktail reception will take place from 5:30-7:30 PM). Timing for table top display set up will be announced at a later date. Shipping address for table top displays will also be announced at a later date.
- The Westfields Marriott will supply six foot skirted tables for your display.
- This fee for each table top display is $500.00. (RACCA members only)
